		<description>That's actually a good point...I think it depends on exactly what your marketing message is. A fun, content-filled newsletter might certainly be welcome...just another "inbox clogger" will have a much greater chance of being overlooked (and deleted).

Of course, in this case (as in all), your subject line is the most important part. If it looks interesting, they'll open it (or save it for later when they can)...if it says "Our newsletter", it won't grab anyone's attention.

		<description>All valid points however...I have found over the years of managing several web sites that the day that records the most unique visitors is consistently Monday. So perhaps one would not want to send an e-mail newsletter on Monday morning (I agree with your point in this post), but a Monday afternoon may still work quite well. People hate Monday's and may be more apt to give in to a diversion on a Monday afternoon.</description>
