Structure of Welcome Emails
Hope you’re doing great! Today I would like to talk about Welcome Emails. Such emails effect the first impression, so it’s really important to make friends with the subscribers from the very first email.
I’ve posted an article on Welcome Email Tips before – the first article was more on an optimization tips, and this one is more about structure of the welcome emails. The welcome-email-structure below is optimal for beginners and mid-class email specialists, and also such structure can be easily modified and improved. Let’s start!
- In your first welcome email, tell about your company, its history, and its vision. Also let your subscriber know what they will be receiving from you via email, and how often.
- In your second email, offer a free white paper, a discount, or a free trial to foster a good relationship and qualify the subscriber as a possible sales lead in the future.
- In your subsequent emails, flow your new customer into your regular email series. But also continue to gather data so you can fine-tune your messages and deliver content your subscribers will value. You can insert a survey to gather data, for example, or insert weekly coupons and track which of them generate the strongest responses.
