1. Avoid Spam-Words. Spam words are still a popular spam-filtering method nowadays. Avoid using words SEX, VIDEO, FREE, CALL NOW, GUARANTEE, ORDER NOW, URGENT. There are about 200 spam-words that activate spam filters. You can easily find them on the web.

2. Keep the subject-line short. We all know that recipients scan their inboxes quickly, and studies show that the best length of the email subject-line is 38-47 symbols.

3. Mention your company name or brand. Other studies show that email subject-line with the brand or company names are more likely to be opened. All because the trust, corporate mailings appears more legit and trustful to recipients. So make it look corporate.

4. Give them a reason! Give your recipients a reason to open the email – make you email subject-line sound funny, memorable, intriguing, etc. Your subject-line shouldn’t leave recipients uninterested and incurious.
